Some of the substrates we can print onto include foamex,
perspex and acrylics, kappa board, display card, dibond and
aluminium composite panel, soft centred foam core, slate and wood.
Foamex
Foamex is a stock item and which we can supply in 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 10mm thicknesses.
It’s a solid and strong, yet lightweight compressed PVC foam which is extremely versatile and comes in a range of colours.
We use a lot of foamex for flat panel work at exhibitions and for signage projects both internally and externally and we produce both single and double sided display panels. It is also a material we use for fabrication - cutting into custom graphic shapes and heat bending to create point-of-sale units and free standing displays.
Our production methods are printing onto vinyls and laminating using a matt, gloss or crystal finish and then dry
mounting to the foamex panels or printing direct to substrate which is effective for volume work.
The real benefit of printing to vinyl first allows for us to egde wrap the foamex with the excess print hiding the exposed edge of the substrate. A perfect finish for wall displays and presentation boards.
Perspex and Acrylics
We supply a range of very high quality extruded acrylic sheets in different colours in 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12mm thicknesses.
We use in a wide variety of applications from display signs, light boxes through to many types of point-of-sale.
With its ease of workability for fabricating and thermoforming and its excellent light transmission it becomes a highly versatile material for us to use.
It’s a popular choice for our creative clients who like to use it for display and event signage, we cut the panels to size,
pre-drill holes ready for wall mounting and polish the edges for that ultimate finish.
Our printed graphics are face mounted to the rear of the panel to retain that glass effect finish to the face, we print on to clear vinyl and it’s then backed up with a white vinyl. Each panel is supplied with a set of stainless steel stand-off wall fixings to allow the display panel to sit away from the wall creating a feature showpiece.
Dibond and Hoarding
Dibond and hoarding boards are extremely durable, lightweight and rigid composite sheeting which have a cut plastic centre sandwiched by thin aluminium sheet and finished with a high quality lacquer that guarantees perfect printing.
This is an excellent product for any type of long term outdoor signage solution with its resistance to the elements,
it keeps its shape and integrity and with its polyethylene core remains much lighter than a pure aluminium panel would.
We have worked on many advertising hoarding projects helping our clients transform the appearance of construction site boundaries whilst building and renovation works are carried out. Previously considered as a necessity, now an essential marketing tool for promotion and branding.
Other forms of signage include car parking bays, shop fascias, projecting signs, wall mounted flat graphics and bespoke light box signs.
Bespoke ‘Cut to Shape’ Service
We also offer a bespoke cutting service. Using CNC and laser cutting processes we can cut precise shapes, logos and
letter sets with a high standard finish across foamex, perspex, acrylic and aluminium composite panels.
We hold all these materials in 8’ x 4’ and 10’ x 5’ sheet sizes (2440mm x 1220mm and 3050mm x 1560mm) ready to create
your large format cutting requests for your display signage, exhibitions, point-of-sale and point-of-purchase items.
We also offer a recycled foamex option, the green alternative that is manufactured from recycled foam PVC recovered from production and post consumer signage waste.
